I've been watching all week off and on and felt like there were some cars that we "well bought" as they say on the show. Some pretty nice classic muscle in the 20 and 30k range.
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

Sharon and I went out on Monday and made a day of it. Shot about a hundred pics, but had the telephoto lens on, so the way the cars were stacked in there, I couldn't get real good shots. Saw one of my all-time favorites, a Kaiser Darrin.Last edited by techinspector1; 01-15-2009 at 11:27 PM.

Thanks for the pics Richard, some really nice stuff! The Kaiser is way kewl, along with the Brit cars and the Mustang. They must really do a ton of work to bring in such first rate cars every year!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Okay, that Pantera is just nuts!!!
Yeah, those Kaiser Darrins are pretty cool. I still have a memory of the first one I ever saw while I lived in Chicago, probably '56 or 7. It was probably a predictive sign that I noticed it and got excited even at that age. Nice pics all around.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Seemed like some good prices (for buyers). Last night one example was the '69 GTX 440completely restored, numbers matching, with 60 thou original miles, for $30. Thought that was crazy low from a few years ago, but in the last year MoPars seem to have been falling. You do have to consider the 5-10% buyers comission plus $500 for a bidders ticket, plus the cost of going and staying there, plus a couple of thousand to have car shipped back wherefrom you came. On the other side there is the fun factor and they do seem to do some prety good pre-screening of cars before they take them.

I have seen that Pantera before in person, it's over the top for sure. I saw that Pontiac Safari, or one similar go across the block last night. Sold for $42k, not a bad price. Also saw a very nice 32 Vicky glass street rod go for the same money. Could not build it for that. Then right after it a steel one with some neat history went for $75k+. A lot depends on what is important to you.
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!
Thank you Roger. .
