Damn! I missed it! Got caught up watching Battle 360 on the History Channel.
Oh well, guess I'll have to wait until June 13 to catch the 24 hours at Le Mans.Bob

Well, it was deja vu at the checkers.... Donahue in a Porsche was the DP winner... Yup, Mark Donahue's son David and his co-drivers won the overall in a Burmos Porsche.....Same team his Dad drove for and won the 24 hours of Daytona so many years ago....
The more things change, the more things stay the same.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Got to see some of it during our vacation in Daytona. Fantastic race, Montoya did an incredible job of staying ahead of the Porshe even though it was MUCH faster on top end. Angelleli actually got the Ford up into second for a brief time, but also couldn't match the Porshe's top end and was re-passed by the 59.
I was cheering for Juan Pablo, but it was good to see Donahue win exactly 40 years after his father had won the same race. Probably an incredible moment for him.

A skip is a huge crate with chains on it at all four corners, the only way I know to shift it is to hire a Hiab. A Hiab is a small crane mounted at either end of a truck's tray...some pick up at...
