24 hrs. of Daytona
Only 90 minutes till the checkers.... Overall leaders are Lexus, Porshce, Porsche, Ford..... Montoya is leading, should be a good finish.... On SPEED if anyone is interested.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Correction.... Lexus, Porsche, Ford, Porsche.....
Angelleli is in the Ford, about the only one left. The rest of them all died in the night time part of the race........Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Damn! I missed it!Got caught up watching Battle 360 on the History Channel.
Oh well, guess I'll have to wait until June 13 to catch the 24 hours at Le Mans.Bob
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!

Well, it was deja vu at the checkers.... Donahue in a Porsche was the DP winner... Yup, Mark Donahue's son David and his co-drivers won the overall in a Burmos Porsche.....Same team his Dad drove for and won the 24 hours of Daytona so many years ago....

Wow , I didn't know Mark had a son..Pretty cool deal..Although I ALWAYS root against the porsches I was happy for him...I remember when hot rods were all home made.

Got to see some of it during our vacation in Daytona. Fantastic race, Montoya did an incredible job of staying ahead of the Porshe even though it was MUCH faster on top end. Angelleli actually got the Ford up into second for a brief time, but also couldn't match the Porshe's top end and was re-passed by the 59.
I was cheering for Juan Pablo, but it was good to see Donahue win exactly 40 years after his father had won the same race. Probably an incredible moment for him.

Great to see your new post, Mike, and great to see CHR up and running again after several days of the Hmmm, can't reach this page.... Also good that you found an easy solution to your storage/access...
