Tucson Rodders Day Event 2010
Today was the car show on our historic 4th Avenue. I grabbed a few pictures of unusual builds. Enjoy.
AS you can see, there were at least four blocks of cars on both sides...and a few side streets. I think the '37 is a WildRod body.

I think the yellow pheaton was a converted sedan.
The '40, as you can see, was converted into a "hardtop".

The Willys sedan fetured a tunnlram manifold sitting on an early Hemi, with 12 spokes our front!
The '50 Ford coupe had port-injected smallblock Ford power.
When was the last time you saw TWO '49-'52 Olds coupes at the same time???
...or a totally frenched and molded Mopar of the same era???Last edited by HOTRODPAINT; 05-01-2010 at 08:32 PM.

Believe it or not, there were several pink cars there!
I would estimate 200-300 rods and customs were in attendance.
Great weather, lots of food, merchandise vendors, unusual stores to browse, and friendly people! A great time.Last edited by HOTRODPAINT; 05-01-2010 at 08:29 PM.

I don't know when they dropped the split windshield on those. I know they were split on the '49, like the one on the left, but don't know about the '50 or '51.
Didn't those all have the famous 303 engine?
