I just hired a guy at work who moved to St Louis from Richmond. Now, he told me that nobody cares about hot rods up there, they're all duck hunters! Is there a few car guys up there after all?

Thanks to all that have attended our events this year. I think this year was a Better-than-normal year for us. The Southern Knights Cruisers will be presenting a check to the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon this year for right around 18,500.00. If you live in the area, you can watch the presentation on WRIC tv 8, it will be between 1:30 & 2:00pm. Our total this year exceeded last years fundraiser, even with the economy being in the dumpster. We will be continuing our Cruise-in till the last Saturday of September, and with the cruise-in's growing in volume like it has been, we are considering changing the cruise-in season from April - Sept, to March - October. This will be discussed at our next meeting, Sept 13th. This Saturday, Sept 11th will be a real treat, as "Bear" from Yorktown will be coming up and applying his DJ talents. When Bear and Wolfman get together, you are in for a good time. They will be giving out some Tee Shirts, and really rocking the joint. As usual, we will be having our weekly 50/50 drawing, and here lately the winner has been getting anywhere between 125.00 to 240.00, so don't miss out on that. Again thanks, and come on out, this cruise-in is really getting strong.

    Rick
