Lead East this weekend in NJ

Going to miss this and the MCA nationals in MD as I assist family in cleaning up after the flood waters have receded.

Anyone headed to Lead East make sure to take lots of pictures and post them here.

No floods at the shop or the house...The shop is 68 feet above the river, the house Noah would be knocking on my door at 271 feet above the river level....The shop had some minor trees come down across the back roof, nothing really damaged by the gutters, took care of that last Sunday........The house is another story, no damage of the structure, but the property is a real mess and will take another week of after work hours to get it back to where it needs to be...In laws in NJ got hit pretty hard, lost almost 200 feet of their back yard to the "cute little stream" (which is usually 3 inches deep and about 14 inches across) that used to run around the corner of their property. With that loss some pretty large trees went down.....As the saying goes "have chain saw, will travel" ........They have been cleaning up what they can, but with me 128 miles away, they have to wait for this weekend for me to deal with the big stuff....Funny thing is, they are only 40 miles from Parsippany where Lead East is, sad part is I will not have enough energy to make it there..........

I'd say "have fun" but I doubt you will, Bill!!!! Hope the weekend isn't too tough, might want to check the date on your birth certificate before you take on too much!!!! A short cruise to Lead East would be a needed break in the long weekend......

Sitting at the shop this morning, watching the clock tick towards 12 (when I can officially close for the weekend), and speaking with friends that are there, I believe you are right.....As for the birth certificate, yeah, I know, I'm not getting any younger, but at the same time, I do not feel as old as I am .....At least not this morning......
