I'll be there on the 20th or the 21's depending on if I get my '51 good enough for a local show on the 21st, as in no electrical issues and get the glass done in time. If I don't, I'll be there Saturday otherwise, I'll be there Friday mid-dayish as I'm planning to make the local show the next day.. Can't take the '51 to the Nats. It's a bit too far to drive it right now. No AAA anymore and it's still in the shakedown ( breakdown ) periodYou don't know what you've got til it's gone

Just wear GOOD shoes, bring a couple bottles of water and be prepared for a walking marathon. Get to the parking lot early so the bridge over to the fairgrounds doesn't take you a half hour. And of course pictures are always appreciated (hmmmmm - I wonder if my 'schedule' will allow that trip from Saratoga area.........)Dave W

Open a Photobucket account and link to the site. Follow their directions and you will be able to get as many pictures as possible on there and all we have to do is a few clicks. Find my Syracuse thread and you will get an idea of how it comes up.
If you went Saturday, that zoo of people is impossible for you to see all you want - and those cars - all over the entire 375 acres.
Thanks for reminding me about this show - I had just plain forgotten as we were supposed to have been out of town.Dave W

That Caddoo was super black and the deep chrome really set it off.
It was a pretty good show. Friday was nice, not to crowded, bit cloudy so it was cooler. Lots of walking. Saturday was brutal, hot, crowded. Way to many cars to see and enjoy. They should knock the cut off date back to about 1960, and put the vendors in the buildings not the cars. Just my .02
I also saw a 33 Pontiac there talked to the guy as he was coming in and should have followed him cause I couldn't find him again to check out his car. I never thought I would see another. Got one picture of him though.Last edited by MRTS33; 07-22-2012 at 03:48 PM.
