Thanks for posting all the photo's. Can I ask though, is the GNRS now moved towards custom cars and pickups and away from Hot Rods and pre 49 vehicles or is that just an example of what relly stirs your pot ? I have to say the VW Kombi is absolutely brilliant and about the only vehicle that I said to myself, " Oh Yeah, that is cool " so either I'm getting to stuck in the mud with what I think a hot rod should be or I'm just a fuzzy dick that takes a lot to satisfy.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Whiplash...... your point regardng the show becoming "later model" is exactly what I thought while walking the show floor Friday and Saturday. There were the usual early hot rod builders, but I think the majority of cars present were post 1950. Of course, the display of 40 Fords took up 40% of one building but there were a lot of later model customs.....some really cool low rider cars were shown. Even the suede palace was dominated by later cars (my opinion). What does this mean? Will the AMBR become AMBC (America's most beautiful convertible)?????
