Where in Springfield is it? I've been to Springfield 2 times. Once for Jeff's GAVC Competition and once to pick up my "Z". I can get to Springfield but I don't have a clue where anything is at once I get there."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

Pro, the event is held at the fairgrounds. There's an exit right off of Interstate 44 (can't remember which one).... I think there are signs posted for the fairgrounds exit. It looks like a pretty good crowd of CHR folks will be there, you should try to make the trip.

For all of you folks heading to the Nats this year I'll try and help with the directions. From either east or west on I 44 take the 78 mile marker exit and head north. You wiil be on Missouri state highway 13 or Kansas Expressway. The first street north of the interstate is Norton Road where you make a right turn ( If you turn left you'll end up in Lowe's parking lot ) and follow it to the fairgrounds ( About a half mile ). For those of you wanting to go to Bass Pro Shops return to Kansas Expressway and go south to Sunshine St. ( Mo. 160 ) and turn left on Sunshine to Campbell Ave. (approx. 2 miles) and turn right. You can't miss the place, it takes up the whole block. I almost forgot, the streets in Springfield run east and west and the avenues run north and south. Sure hope I haven't confused anyone. If anyone has problems please feel free to email me at krt222@mchsi.com and I would be more than happy to assist you in anyway that I can.

Unless yer sittin' in front of yer' puter..... I might not recognize ya'."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

Thanks Dave for the invite, I'd love to make it but I have a comitment for those dates. Hopefully I can make next year. Tell you what I would like to see is a CHR get together in Louisville. Are you and Kennyd gonna make Louisville? If we could get everyone on CHR who is going to Lou, to make a time and place to meet that would be great. I'm gonna be off line until Monday afternoon. Got a long weekend, gotta be at Lokars tommorow for their Open House and then to the Nats South. I'll check with you when I return. Jack

Here is the plan...
kennyd and I are planning on being in Springfield by around 5 p.m. on Thursday... Will probably make the kick-off party on Thursday evening...
Bright Red Willys Roadster and Bright orange 32 Roadster with flames, we ought to be easy enough to spot, come by and say hello...
I'd be willing to be Kenny will have the only Willys Roadster at the event!!!
DanJ.... No they are not Kit Cars!!!

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
