Anybody going to the Carquest Auto Parts NHRA Nationals @ Rt. 66???
Starts next Thursday south of Joliet Sept. 30th to Sunday Oct. 3rd.
Last chance to see world records broken again.

If anybody plans to go let me know, I'll meet ya' there.
Friday is when i usually go. No ones been eliminated yet and there's night drags. That's a kewl experience.

I went to their event in Sonoma in August and it was Awesome! That was one of the first events after the rule changes so the fuel cars were still feeling their way around. They still had some great performances and races. Hope you have a great time!

I would love to go but I need at least 10 days to ge ready for a trip like that. Hmmmm, I wonder....... I'll look into this a little deeper. That might be fun. I'd have to be a watcher though.

What airport is close by? I gotta check some ticket prices. I think the drive from MA. may be a bit too far for a weekend jaunt.

There's Midway and O'hara (Chicago). That's about an hour from the track (depending on traffic). If ya' fly a puddle jumper you can fly into Morris air port (a municipal airport) That puts you about 15 min from me and about the same to the track.
