    Typd "Flathead Ford Identification" into Google and go crazy. A little research does wonders.

    However, the "EAB" heads are 49-53 Ford 24 stud heads.

    The "6520" on the intake is the part number for a 49-53 intake manifold. The 8BA8RT indicated that it could be used on either the BA (car engine) or RT (truck engine).

    Further identifiers for the 49-53 engine are the water inlets on the heads, and the distributor. The inlets should be on the upper corner of the heads - not in the center. As you look at the front of the engine, the distributor should point to about 10 o'clock.
