building 460
i have a 460 block casting d1ve. heads are d3ve. i am building this engine to go in 1965 lincoln. do i have good starting parts i plan to leave bottom end stock. i am not looking for monster. but i think that while i have it apart might as well make it breath. top end would like to have cast heads worked with some mild porting. and let me know if this correct i read the rocker arms factory are 1.7 ratio arms. small cam, performer alum. intake, and carb --what size carb do i need on this car. my biggest question is i am reading and heads have a cc rating. a head with a lower rating has a higher c/r. i am pretty sure after reading some of the other articles i have low compresion. what c/r would i like to have in my engine? i am guessing that the cc is the dip area on the the head where the valves are.
