Anyone from the detroit area?
I'm looking for a good shop to rebuild my 429. I don't know of any quality shops around here. I'm looking for good work and preferably a guy who will work with me on this. I've got a lot of questions about it.
Does anyone know the sort of price range i'm looking at for this sort of rebuild?
thanks kyle

Hey Daniel, welcome to CHR. You resurrected a thread from 2005, and that puts an '05 tag on it in originators name which isn't a problem other than some may not pay attention to something 30+ years old. I first thought of Charlie Fisher, but he hasn't been active in a long time, and when I checked he's from Constantine, closer to Chicago than Detroit.
What is it you're needing a shop for, like general repairs or rebuilding an engine? I don't know that we've got anyone that's active from the Detroit area, but ya' never know, someone may remember a great shop.Roger

I'm gonna need some Kiwi definition before I can laugh at this one!! What's "a skip" in Kiwi?
