Everything that cant support the yanking of a mustang front end up needs to be replaced. As delivered from Ford , HIGHLY UNLIKELY. I have had 2 S/ST-(10.90) stangs that didnt yank the tires. Have t/a 345 drag radials on my 61 falcon with a 175 shot ,roller 460 with a 10 "converter, 4.11s --no wheels up, runs 10s.

I don't know, never say never. An old friend of mine, Kip Martin, has a 64 1/2 Mustang with a 289 and four-speed that he sets up on the bumper every launch. It's an NHRA legal Super Stock/ L car that runs on an 11.71 index.

Tires, suspension, converter stall or clutch setup....a lot of things have to work together to make it happen. How can you say for sure?..........'til you try it.

500 lbs of lead in the gas tank will do it every time!

I'd have a lot of doubts it would go wheels up with a stock chassis......

if you really just wanna pop those front wheels up.... remove the front sway bar.... its gonna wreak havok on your front end, but it'll help on getting those wheels to pop up.... or they'll pop up if you remove your lower tie rods
just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

I also have a 73 Mustang convertable with a 351 cleveland with a 4 speed that will pick up the wheels slightly if i get good traction. If i take off from a dead stop it wont, but if i going say 5 MPH and play with the gas alittle then make it hit hard it will lift. Mind you this is with 60 series radial tires not slicks.
In my drag Cougar i have a 514 BBF, and it will lift the wheels off the ground alittle when i launch the car. But i have it set so the wheels lift as little as possible.

With a 4 link under it and M/T drag radials I think you would be able to with out problem. Of course ... it may do it without the 4 link. I have to agree with HOTRODPAINT & Tech. There are many factors... ya never know .... I'd be curious to know how it works out.
