that sucks, so with 618 lift does that make it a "bigger" cam..or is the smaller the number the more radical the cam.? i looked at summit and did not see anything above 582 lift

Yes, its a much bigger cam.

In our neighborhood, 2 blocks down the hill was a gas station that (to me) all the cool car guys hung out there. 32 coupes, 33 & 34 Fords as well, a sweet 56 Ford Beach wagon that was setup gasser...
