With the carbureted engines, everything is the interchangable in the two engine sizes, the only difference being the crankshaft (stroke) and pistons (pin height).

The main journal and rod journal dim's are the same between the engines.
The 429 and 460 engines basically use the same con rods; they are interchangable between the two engines. So are the timing covers, chains, cams, oil pumps, etc. The details/specs of some of these parts may have varied over the years, but in any given year were the same between 429 & 460 and would still fit into any carbed 429/460. One of the very, very few exceptions is the internal/external balance differences (1978 & earlier is internal balance, while 1979 & later are extyernal balance).
