429 2bbl. Heads? Dove-C?
Just needing to know if a 429 from a 1971 mercury marque with a 2bbl. carb will have good heads. I know that it dose have screw in studs. I can pick it up along with a c-6 trans for $300.00. but dont know if it will be worth the effort and added expence, and how can i tell if the Heads are Dove heads? Thanks to any answers. Steve... I just found out that it has the DOVE-C heads, Are these the good heads? Please help if possible.Last edited by woffyparts; 01-24-2004 at 08:47 AM.
