    do you have the trust plate on the front of the block if not the cam will be back in the block . lobes are not in dead center of lifter bores on any engine with a flat lifter cam engine

    plate

     



    yes i have a comp cams torrington assemble and billet thrust plate on it. i dont know if u know much about them but the cam gear gets machined and on is put on the inside of the timing gear, then comes the plate bolted down, then another bearing assembly. so it must be something behind that plate that it off
