    Fuel injected FE

A friend wants to know of anyone with experience with port injected FE's. He's building a 428 for a customer and wonders if such a set-up would be streetable. Besides Hilborn , does anyone else manufacture these? Any hints , tips , suggestions , etc. would be cool. Thankss.

Check out www.verycoolparts.com They sell a nice FE setup. I have no experience with these but have heard a 50/50 mix. Some really like them and can tune them no problem. Some yank them and throw the old carb or EFI back on but I feel they are in over their heads on tuning skills. Tech support is key and Wayne has been building these a long time and knows his stuff. I'd recommend giving him a call and pick his brain a bit. With the right parts and tuning they can run very well. G.

You know the TWM kit looks better than the Very Cool one as I like the fuel rails tucked inside towards the center. Pricing is much better too!!!! Very nice setup. G.

Doesn't holley make a injection kit that looks like a carb? I don't know if they make them for an FE but it's worth a look.
