360 torque monster
how much valve lift can a 360 take?
I am thinking of a 194D cam 110 lobe seperation
I think mabe .800" lift mabe be possible
get some headers, Edlebrock 600, pertronix and flamethrower coil should make for a dependable and mean Monster with some serous issues, hopefully in the 370+ torque range and 200 hp.
This should be enough for a light F-100 or make for a real stout Early Bronco that will rip stock axils apart before "not" making it up the mountian slope.Looking for a '67-'75 Ford 4x4, 4 speed pickup

.800 lift? You're kidding, right? Not even likely. I don't think the heads to allow it. I'd be really skeptical at .540 but would definately clearance check any cam that runs over .500 lift.
And a 194 Duration cam with .800 lift.... sure, ok. I don't even think a roller lifter could work that.... or could it???Dan Ouellette

I have heard of .700" lift out of a 300 six at ford six performance index owned by a guy with the screen name "frenchtown flyer".
I question
1. spance between piston and top of combustion hamber
2 how much the head will allow
I have heard of a 300 with headers, offy intake, holley 450 cfm 4 barrel, 240 head, electronic ignition making 300 hp at 5500 rpm and over 400 lbs of torque at 2500 rpm if I remember correct.
I wonder what a 360 can do with 9.5:1 comp, 4 barrel, 230 D @ .50 cam , headers.Looking for a '67-'75 Ford 4x4, 4 speed pickup
