Nope they are just the baldy style covers. They were used from 58-64 and came painted and chrome. The chrome ones were part of dress up package option as I understand. And yes the chrome ones are getting a pretty penny. The painted ones are also as you can see by the auction link. Guys will buy them to chrome hoping to save a little$$$. And as you know they have no oil fill or breather holes and the spark plug loom tabs are forward more so than the later style center mounted tabs. I know the early 427's came with chrome baldy's stock. The 406 was available with these but only with the dressup option. Other than that the 406 came with those thunderbird covers you have. I like the thunderbird covers myself. Your Galaxie is a 64 right?? The thunderbird covers would be period correct for that also I would think. G.
Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
