    overbore

Is there any special parts required to overbore a 67 390 to the 427 dimensions and bolt in a 428 crank to acheive a 454.

The 360/390 block cannot handle a bore as big as the 427. The 427 is a different casting altogether to accomodate the larger bore. I have put a 428 rotating assy in a 360 and with a .030 overbore was like 416ci. (if I remember correctly)

I have already been looking at the stroker windsor mated to an AOD and I think it will be the way to go.
