360 vs 390
hey guys,
I have a few questions about an engine I just came across. The 360 and the 390 have the same block right? and the 360 just has the 352 guts right? but 390 pistons? so if I buy this 360 motor I'm looking at, its a 390 block? the guy says its been bored 45 over. so that means its basically a 390 thats been bored 45 over? so just what does that make the motor? and does it hurt the block being bored that much? 45 is an odd number to bore something out right?
Thanks for any advise.

You can make a 390 from a 352 by boring/honing 0.050", using 390 crank, rods and pistons. He may have said 0.045" because it was bored 0.045" and honed 0.005".
