Fe rods, stock or not?
Hello people!
I've got a problem with fitment of my new pistons and the rods.
when ordering, I mentioned "stock FE short rod" in the form (concerning the wristpin dimensions).
Now the top end of the rod doesn't fit in between the wristpin towers of the piston and the rod has to be machined down to size...
the width between the towers is 30 mm, wich according to the manufacturer (wich will stay nameless for now, don't know who's reading!) is plenty of space for stock ford fe rods.
I have c7ae-b rods with a topend width of 33 mm and I thought of them being your average stock rod (did a little checking in certain books, but nothing special about them that i can find)
comments, anyone? please!Going sideways through a bend isn't considered normal or even sane, so that's the way I like it!
