    To be honest I got very close to what Carls setups sell for so it was not much of a deal but I did very well on it. Plus the Tbirds use a flat intake vs the angled Galaxie version. The Bird engines sit level and the Gals have an angle. The Tbird 3x2's are pretty rare and close to double what the Galaxie setups go for. You could have angled spacers made tho for a Galaxie setup. Expensive possibly unless you know someone with a machine shop who could help. Ya good idea going with a nice aluminum 1x4 for now!!!
