I think you answered your question.........rare motor - good deal BUT.....for a comuter car for college........I think........NOT.
Why you ask.......tri-power carbs, 10.1 compression.....& the list goes on.....
Now if your restoring/hotrodding a early 60's fairlane/galixy - & school is X town - probably not an issue.
But then again........if your looking for the hot rod comuter car - go for it.
As for the .060 overbore......If it was a BBC I'd say depending on compression & HP then a .100 would be it. Although I run a blue oval FE 352 in my 62 truck I'm not as up to date on max. bore limits.

We managed to get a couple of other small things taken care of. One was blacking out the front of the core support. When the sun hit the front of the car just right that green paint on the core...
