    too many numbers !

hi all. i have afe motor that i'd like to id. it seems like someone may have built this motor from a few diferent years and motor parts.i have the motor hanging off an engie crain with the after market header off the altinater offbellhousing etc off and cant seem to find any number that means anything except the casting date.that number is hard to reed but its like WI 8919/ ? i think the8 is white. anyway these are the numbers i can reed.intake manifold#C1AE9425 E or D.cylinder heads C8AE H connecting rods this is were it gets weird C7TE A.the pistons are not the full skirted truck piston but the most common fe piston flat top with eye brows or valve reliefs acording to my how to rebuild your big block FORD book.i did the stick the dowl down the hole trick and seems to be 3.50 stroke.i'd love to measure the bore but i still have the heads on.the bottom of the piston measure just under 4 inches.thats reching up in there with atape measure that the end of moves probbabley an eighth like most tape measures do. the block does have the dif 30 the 352 43 onfront the352 33 on the back and onthe front bottom left machined serface ther is an O and a 2 stamped ther. on the crank i found a 44 a 6 and a 10 on the first lobe a R on the third lobe and a 3 on the last lobe.o ya connecting rod cap#is C6AE CF1and the main caps are C2AE.the bellhousing #is C5TA 7505 b it has an 11 inch clutch and flywheel measures 15.5 inches across and has 184 teeth.so can anyone help e fellow gear head out?i want to swap the 292 out of my 62 galaxie 500 for an fe.

The 8919 might be 8B19. that's a 68/Feb/19th date code. The B might be a G or E etc...if so that's just a different month. So the block is a 68. The intake is a 61 part by the intake number. Lowriser intake ports. Not the best port match but will run fine. The heads are the 68 and later std FE issues heads till the later D2 truck heads came out. C7TE rods are long 330 rods. sounds like the crank and pistons also 330 possibly. The 330's have a std 3.875 cyl bore. So depending on the exact bore size you either have a 330, 352 or 360 with that 3.50" stroke. The bell is a truck part. Those are a hair longer than the std car bells. I'm not sure if that will affect your drivetrain but possibly might need to be addressed.

That's a start anyway. Welcome to CHR!
