Edelbrock fe heads help
hey i need some help real bad, can anyone help me please? i have a 1964 thunderbird with a 390 fe that i have a edelbrock cam and intake combo(2106,2105) installed. now i am having the edelbrock heads(60069) installed with comp cam roller rockers(1046-16) com cam pushrods (7533-16 which was recommended by comp cam). the problems is: with the rocker adjusted all the way there is no play in the pushrods and the mechanic don't want to turn the engine over because he said we would break something that way. can anyone help me out with this problem? maybe some suggestion to what it might be? thanks for any help you may give me.Last edited by gunny3468; 05-06-2007 at 12:35 AM.

the rockers should be tightened down to where there is just no slop in the pushrod, same way you would tighten down the bearings on a brake rotor, just to where theres no slop and then 3/4 turn morejust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
