I Like the C6 trans . But we had two at work on E350s that the tail housing cracked by the mounting area . And I check the engine mounts they were ok . I think you can buy a cast iron on that was used on some big block Mustangs and F600 trucks . But the C6 is a real good trans .

See if you can find one of the cast iron C6 tails . That Mustang 67 guy might know were you can get one .
