428 Pancaked Valve Problem
I Bought A 428 Industrial Block W/ 406 Head With Cj Valves And It Seemed Loud. After Running It W/out Beating On It I Noticed Alot Of Noise Which I Thought Was Just The Solid Lifter Cam But Found Out That Three Tops Of The Valves Were Pancaked Flat. What Causes This. Bad Springs, Too Loose And They Needed Adjustments?

Everything Was Getting Oiled. Maybe Springs No Good. This Motor Was Supposed To Be Rebuilt And The Inside Of The Heads, Tops Of Pistons Etc Were Gunked Full Of Old Carbon And Crap. Nice Rebuild.

Adj rocker arms might help. I have a set I'd give up for 500"Caffeine is the glue that holds my macaroni picture together, nicotine is the magnet that holds it all up on the fridge."
