    C3ae-6090c Help!!!

here i go again,,,i have come across 2 different books , one shows these heads to be of a 406 with 2.02 intake valves and the other shows these to be 406 with 2.09 intake valves.
Does anyone know if Ford actually put these heads on a 390 and used 2.02 intake valves?
I talked to one person that had a set with these casting numbers and he said that he had them cut for the larger intake valve but know i have found a set that are original and have the 2.09 valve.
My problem is that i have purchased a whole engine that has these casting numbers on the heads, and i havent picked it up yet, but he tells me it is out of a 1963 t-bird, it has a 4 bbl. intake,
he said he has no way of measuring the bore size , and i am not asking him to for the simple fact that it is hopefully a 406 in my advantage. I am picking this motor up this weekend and i've been pulling out my hair in suspence,,,please help me

Ripped again; I think that book that shows a 406 that use's a 2.02 Intake valve must be a mistake. Because even the 352's and the 390's used a 2.04 intake valve.

Ripped again; Hey just to let you know, nothing is impossible. I ran into a guy in Atlanta Ga. that had all kinds of ford experimental parts, alot of stuff for clevelands which I offered him big bucks to take off his hands, but he would not part with some of the stuff. Ford raced alot of nascar's back in the 60's and they had to have a certain number of cars produced with those parts to race them, maybe you have a odd set of heads. And we all know nascar liked smaller valves don't we, and if thats the case I would grab them up and not let go.

well i got this complete motor at a super price and i guess i will find out exactly what i bought this weekend, i gotta drive over 550 miles to get this surprise, but i think either way i will still be happy with what i got , i only purchased it for the heads but hey the whole deal is even better, maybe i will luck out and it is a true 406 tri-power that someone replaced the intake with a 4 bbl intake,,,i will garantee you that i am taking my calipers along to end my suspence, and on the other hand it will be a high compression 390 4 bbl, no loss either way
