i live in ga. i'm taking care of my mother who is 84. i'm from missouri but have lived in va. for the last 35 years .ever heard of MIR OUTSIDE DC? 1973-1981.they have a strip in bama???? what you work for edelbrock? i'll stick with my offenhausers on the 2x4 you can mount holleys and carters. i have a bench too. it has a 1965 olds 400/375hp on it now which is being rebuilt by me its a new engine that was given to the local jr. college in nova. i bought it auction in 1977 now i'm got it torn down and going to build a chevy killer. i'm lookong for a cheevy body to put it in.and i'm just bought a 1962 lark(studebaker)which i plan to run at atlanta dragway next year.and guess what it going to be powered by a 304.5 cid studebaker v-8 R-4 engine. plus i'm driving the studebaker to the strip. i was just giving my take on overcarb.a stock engine, also weiand makes a 2x4 for the fe fords. it also takes holleys and carters. i also have a tunnel port heads and 2x4 intake for a 427.3 storage sheds of perforamce parts for every thing from a flathead studebaker 6-cylinder to a 500cid caddy. lots of ford stuff mostly y-block but not one cheevy part. are you a benchracer? i don't know you you don't know me. a benchracer is some one to talks about what a bad car they have and when they leave the speed shop they pull off in a ratty six/auto 4-door nova and leave a cloud of smoke(engine burning
oil).edelbrock is not the only manifold company out there. they may be the biggest but so was general motors at one time.it may be a sbc world out there but my world is ford blue and studebaker black.have a good day.freedom is having all info in front of you.
