390 cam porblems.... wich one?
I am wanting to put a cam in my 390 fe and i want i to have a choppy idle but still have low end torque. the cam i have in it is a PBM with an int. valve lift of .510 and an exh. valve lift of .536. i put new lifters in the motor, it has stock 2V heads, an edelbrock streetmaster intake and an edelbrock 600 cfm carberator. i was thinking of putting a holley 750 double pumper on it, is that a good idea or not. the car the motor is in is an 87 thunderbird with a C6 tranny and an 8.8 rear end and 345 gears.Last edited by FORD_MAN78; 11-12-2009 at 02:08 PM.
