If anything, there could be differences in the motor mount pads on the block... There's some guys I lot more knowledgeable the me on the older FE's, hopefully they'll see the post and let you know for sure which mount to use....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Motor mounts are different after 66. And if I recall there some different boltholes because of the generator/alternator but not a huge deal on either oneI remember when hot rods were all home made.

353 to 390
I installed a 74 truck 390 into my 65 F250 (352) and all the mounts were the same, even the tranny.

You can use the crank from the 390 and bore the 352 to match the 390. The crank will work in the 352. You can also save the 352 block and bore it out later for a spare.
Great to see your new post, Mike, and great to see CHR up and running again after several days of the Hmmm, can't reach this page.... Also good that you found an easy solution to your storage/access...
