Yes Erson Cams talk to Pat Mc Carthy.
He deals alot with Erson and realy knows his Stuff.
I like their TQ Series cams for the torque.
I had a TQ 30 in a 67 Mustang and it was the best street cam I have ever run.
And it is very nice and LOPEY.
Pat's on this site so PM him He can help you out. pat mccarthy

You're setting yourself up for a big disappointment. Low compression ratio combined with big cam equals turd.

I'd chat with Barry at Survival Motorsports.... He's the FE master!!! Guarantee you he can fix you up with a shaft that will actually work well with the rest of the engine!!!

The TQ 30's RPM range is about 2000 - 5800 and
has a real nice lopey idle to it.
So it is not crazy big and has awsome mid range pulling power.
Should have a small stall with it. Most 4 X 4 do need a slightly
smaller cam to get a better bottom end, but you will not have
the lope you wanted either. But Pat can tell you more about that.
This cam tries to pull so hard that you may need a head rest to
keep you head from going out the back window.
The pulling starts just slightly above idle and does not let up till
    about 6,00RPM's.

Thanks guys. The truck is a two wheel drive, already has a 2500 stall and a edelbrock performer intake.

If it's already got a 2500 stall that cam would work great with that truck.
I've got a picture of my 70 ford custum sport cab pick up on this site.
