Crank pulley bolt size
Had the harmonic balancer and timing cover off today replacing the chain on my 390 fe. The bolt that goes into the front of the crank shaft rolled off into the horizon to start a new life somewhere else and has left me scratching my head. Anyone have the dimensions on that bolt so that I can go pick up a replacement?"Caffeine is the glue that holds my macaroni picture together, nicotine is the magnet that holds it all up on the fridge."

According to Summit it is a 5/8 - 18TPI chrome moly bolt. You might want to talk to one of their tech guys, or maybe a good NAPA parts guy if you have one?

The ARP catalog is my 'bible' for bolts!! http://www.arp-bolts.com/catalog/catalog.html and see page 56. They do use 5/8-18 bolts as Roger has said above. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ARP-150-2501/Dave W

Thanks guys. It seems the bolt couldn't make it in Hollywood and came back home...... After I ran out and got another. I'll get some good use out of that arp catalog, so thanks for that IC2."Caffeine is the glue that holds my macaroni picture together, nicotine is the magnet that holds it all up on the fridge."
