360 oil problems
Hi everyone, im new to the forum and have learned a lot just reading some other posts. i have a 70's f250 with a 360 and im burning oil real bad. i know its on the drivers side because it only smokes out that sides header. i did a compression test and all the cylinders are within 15% of each other so i don't think its rings. when i did the compression test i looked at the plugs and the 5, 6 and 8 plugs were really carbon fouled. my coolant is muddy looking but i dont know if thats from oil or rust in the system. there is a small amount of oil that seaps out the front of the intake manifold gasket. so i was thinking maybe its valve stem/guide seals or a head/intake gasket problem. Any help you guys can give me would be great, thanks.

Not only that but if the seals are broken up with age you'll find pieces scattered around on the heads and in the valley plus a really big binch in your oil pump pickup
Great to see your new post, Mike, and great to see CHR up and running again after several days of the Hmmm, can't reach this page.... Also good that you found an easy solution to your storage/access...
