What is it?
I bought an engine this weekend that was pulled from a 59 thunderbird but nothing leads me to believe that's what it started out in. The casting numbers on the side of the block are B9AE 6015B, The heads are COAE 60900 and the intake is COAE 9425. The crank is stamped EDD I checked that out and was told it was from an Edsel. If anyone has any info on this engine I would really appreciate it.

I did manage to track a few of the casting numbers down but it just got more confusing from there, It seems to be a FE series engine but there are no indicators of that such as 352 cast into the block and after some more cleaning I found 28756 stamped into the block face just below the #1 piston. I thought it was a 352 at first but the timing cover is wrong and no markings indicating that. Also on the back of the block the only thing there is a big letter L and EDC cat into it.
