Thread: valve sizes?

found me an engine with C7AE-A heads with the 16 hole pattern on exhaust, there still on motor but my info doesnt show this casting, lookin for some info,thanks,,,,

They are either 66-68 390 hipo heads with 67-70cc chambers or 67 352/390/410/428 heads with 71-74cc chambers. Both would have std 2.02 int and 1.55 ex valves. The C7AE-A is listed for both heads. What engine are you looking at? G.

ok here it is ,,, i got them off and they are C7AE-A with 14 bolt exhaust, standard valves,1.93x1.34 intake 1.84x1.28 exh. and 4.05 bore,, so i take these are 390GT heads
but now i have another set to get that are C6AE-R with 16 bolt exhaust but i havent took them off yet to determine the sizes of vavles and ports. Both sets are double spring and have the taller drip rails.
