And it seems the D2 heads are pretty much the same as the C8 390 heads. Port and chambers both the same. I'm not to familier with some of the later truck stuff but I'm catching on. G.

Thanks for the continuing education, FFR. So anyway, are these heads worth doing something to, or should I still be looking for the older 390 parts, or just plunk down the $$$ for a set of aluminum heads?? What I have in mind for the Ranchero is an FE stroker motor that makes a ton of torque, and will be a very reliable motor???Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
