Summit HEI for 302
Anyone have any thoughts on a summit blueprinted HEI Distributor for my 302 ford racing crate motor. I need a distributor for a roller cam so it has to have a steel gear. If you have any thoughts or suggestions please let me know. Here's a link.Summit racing

Well not sure about that one... Best one for a Ford 302 I hear is the Performance Dissy's I think they are called? Let me get the info and get back to you on this. These things are a bit more expensive but I hear way worth it. A lot of Ford guy's reccommend it.www.streamlineautocare.com

MSD ready to run has served me well. Its small enough to clear the biggest of air cleaners. I was going to buy an HEi in the begining but one of my buddies had some problems with air cleaner interference.

Dennis is right. MSD has some of the BEST products out there. The local speed shop from me ALWAYS recommends MSD. I think they sponsor his shop or something but they wouldn't do it if he didn't like them. I can't find that other dissy company though. Someone here know's what I am talking about I am sure. The top says DANGER high voltage....www.streamlineautocare.com

I like to keep it under $300 but maybe it is worth it. Anyone know.

YES that is IT!!! Heh. A lot of Ford guys swear by that thing. Run some good 8 or 10 mm Taylor wires and you'd be set. I don't know WHY they are so much money though (the DUI).www.streamlineautocare.com

Many of the long tube cast headers I've run across had a relief ground on the back side for starter bolt clearance. I just trimmed the bolt on mine. On these new shorty's, they eliminated the...
