    the heads you mentioned are late model heads the cast number E7 means they are a 1987 production run with ford the letter indicates decade and number indicates year the last 2 didgits you could not read probably were TE which indicates a truck head.

    B=50's
    C=60's
    D=70's and so on

    I forget if there is any differance between the 351w and the 302 of that same era I will try and get that info this week. the 302 E7TE heads were the heads used on the 5.0 h.o. motors and with some port work can flow pretty well, not sure of what type of mods you have to your motor but if not highly modified might work out just fine and save you some cash.

    well i have quite a bit of mods but all are very mild. hoping for a good turn out but we will just have to see. i planned on using the heads for now and then when my pockets get a little deeper then a nice set of heads would be the first thing i got my greedy power hungry hands on but hey if you have any more info i would be glad to hear it.
