    Initial settings for roller rockers.

I have never ran roller rockers before. I have heard that at TDC you take the lash out, then tight another 1/4 turn. Is this correct? Will I have to re-adjust them later after break in? If so, will the motor have to been running?

    Thanks

That's basically the procedure, some say a quarter turn, some say 3/4 turn. Just run each cylinder to it's TDC, then adjust them as you would anyother hydraulic lifter.....you are running a hydraulic lifter cam, right?

if you have not had a set of roller rockers . some of them make more noise then stock shoe type rockers so you may have abit more valvetrain noise

Thanks for the input. Yes, I am running a hyd. cam. Should I prime the oil system before setting up the valves?

Thank you for the advice. The motor has never been ran. I believe it was put together a little over a year ago, but sat on an engine stand in the corner of my engine builders shop.

First, are these adjustable rockers or are they bolt down rockers? If they are the bolt down type then you can look up the correct procedure on the Crane Cams site.
