5.4 Triton
As I mentioned in another thread, we're starting on a '67 Mustang coupe that will be getting a 5.4 Triton engine with an aod. Bill found a 50,000 mile engine, got it complete with all the accessories, computer, EFI, wiring harness, etc. Wondering if you guys could refer me to some good reading material concerning these engines and specifically the electronics and efi parts of it.. Going to have to do some rewiring, I'm sure!!! Thanks in advance for the help!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

good motor.... i just put a new one in my f-150 back in june.....if your motor is pre-04 then be warned that they have a problem with the heads not having enough spark plug thread and are known to spit spark plugs out.... after 3 i decided to buy a crate motor from ford with the updated heads.... paid $5000 for the crate motor with all new everything but the coils, life time warranty...... not a difficult engine to work with really..... the only thing i dont like is the locating of the fuel rails to the coil packs/spark plugs, they can be bit of annoyingjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
