bout $1300 for the block directly from ford.... compared to a dart 4bolt main 302 block its dirt cheap.... the darts start at like $4k ....

Ford made the Sportmans cheaper in 2006.
    I built a 347 for a customer.
The engine was maybe 500 hp.
The car was running 6.80's in the 1/8 and he cracked the block in the lifter valley.
The engine only had about 35 pass's on it.
My advice to people is save your money and go Dart.

If you shop around you should be able to find the Dart Iron Eagle for about $2,000.
