No it does'nt, imho, neither does a chevy belong in a shelby or superbird, somethings best left alone, once I saw a honda 750 shoved in a sportster frame, I damn near puked.

To each his own but I understand his point.

Would be one heck of a combination,,,,doubt the transaxle would live very long, though.... It'd sure be a wild one, no doubt!!!!! Heck, they fly now with only 500 horse! Maybe for those of us who are less then millionaires, one of the aftermarket 'glass versions of the GT 40....If you could get a transaxle to live behind all that torque, the mid-engine design wouldn't be effected by the weight much at all!!!!

Yes, I have...they're really no different then any of the other brand loyalty blindness types, though..... If you can make it go fast and handle like a slot car, I don't think the combination really matters. Heck, I've contemplated building a Super Comp Vette powered by an 815" Ford.... good aero and good power.... I'm still just really, really bored of seeing an sbc 350/350 in everything!!!!!

I was not talking about him personally but he is making my point,I have found most chevy people think chevy motors are Gods gift to everyone and everyone should have one powering their vehicles but I dont buy it and wont use one even to power a chevy. They have a cow when someone wants to put a non chevy motor in a chevy and I think its funny to see their responses,if everone takes a chevy motor out of their non chevy vehicles I wont even think about putting a non chevy motor in my 37 chevy p/u when I get tired of or blow up the 235 six as I was seriously thinking of putting a ford motor in it.
