Oh yeah, that shouldn't be a problem! I'd still suggest looking around for a better set of heads, they really make a difference on the SBF's...The set Jeff is running on his 302 would work great if you could locate another set...The original 289 Hi Performance engines using those heads were rated at 271 horse right from the factory!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I think your exactly right Dave, and I think he would be more than happy with that motor then. By the way Josh I forgot to tell you the guys name that owns that machine shop.
