    is there a way of finding out if the heads had been shaved?

    CC the heads is the only right way. some times you can tell on a head if its been over milled by looking at it if you mill alot of that head but still needs to be CC . on the bbc chevyOEM iron head there was as cast spot on the ends of the head look like dogs ears when you get past that they have been cut alot not sure if theres a Ez way on you heads but in the photos they look like they need a trim
