R2, recieved the box today! As soon as I can get out to the shop - we'll have an answer, and if I haven't said it enough.. THANK YOU!
I did get the tranny shift kit completed and replaced the tranny mount as the studs/nuts were trashed from dragging over driveways.. I gotta lift this car a tad! 8-)

R2, got good news and bads news. That dizzy does drop all the way in. But, in only 1 position. On one side the mount for the cap hold down hits, while on the other side, the vacuum chamber limits rotation. So I do have something to work with!
I'll pull some measurements from this one and hopefully finish my conversation with MSD. I've got my eye on their # 8503.
I'll get this package re-assembled and back to you! Thanks Again!

And I did get the motor back in the car.. Glad about that!
A friend came by the shop and wanted to inspect for a noisy wheel bearing. What we determined tho, it was his newly purchased lug nuts on the alloy wheels. The "barrel" under the hex was bottoming out against the hub. Once he jacked up the first wheel, we thought it moved slightly so he grabbed it and gave it a shake. And it moved!! A couple seconds in the lathe 20 times got him in shape..
Then I wanted to install the lower pulley for the coupe and the lip that goes into the balancer was in the way 'cause the new balancer has a lip to carry the balancer! Back to the lathe for a trim job! Glad it's in and we're making progress.

HMPH.. I guess a "normal" individual would just rush out there and snap some pics for ya'll....
But my .."nature".. or... "stubborness"... just leads me to do the opposite!
And I'm not really "accustomed" to seeing Mr. Spears cheering in the stands.. HMmmm..
I guess you folks are STARVED for entertainment. Ya'll can go work on your rides too you know!
