    He could not get a tow today so I'm going back out to the mud puddle for another try tomorrow
    I'm sure I did not push the pump in from the bottom and the arm must be over the cam eccentric

    If that is so, lever over the eccentric.., check it carefully against the old one.. it may be bent in the wrong direction now. Good Luck and stay dry.
