"Mini" starter for 302
Hello all
I'm building a 302 and I got a set of block hugger headers. The starter won't fit now and I need to get a mini started. Does anyone have experiance with the Ebay specials or should I just bite the bullet and get the $160 mini from summit? Are they really mini and that much shorter. It need to be at least 1-1/2" shorter than stock. The stock motor was from a '72 Bronco if that matters. Thanks for any help.

My wifes uncle bought one for his 66 LeMans and it was smaller than the original, no doubt about that, but didn't suffice so he returned it. Left a big opening between it and the flywheel which he didn't like."Now bring me those cheese sandwich appetizers you talked me out of."
